Emergency Information Lucas Oil Stadium has an Emergency Action Plan (EAP) in the event an emergency occurs. Part of this plan includes a command center on event days staffed by LOS personnel and local law enforcement/emergency management personnel. You are encouraged to take the following steps in the event of an emergency:
The Colts are cracking down on unruly fans at Lucas Oil Stadium with a new way to report bad behavior through your cell phone. Colts fans are enthusiastic and passionate about the game, but sometimes things get out of hand in the stands. "It can get a little out of control after a long day of seeing people tailgate all day," said Colts fan Dave Neff. "We've been to some of the games and some of the fans do get unruly a lot of times," added Colts fan Roger Goldman. But now if you see bad behavior, you can report the unruly fan anonymously. The Colts started a text messaging system, called Guest Assist, a couple of weeks ago. It's part of the NFL's fan code of conduct implemented this year. Larry Hall, the Colts' Vice President of Ticket Operations and Guest Services, says Guest Assist is a good tool to keep fans respectful. "We want everyone to have a very good time, but never at anyone's expense. They could text to get some assistance, whether that's a fan issue, a housekeeping issue, such as maybe someone spilled a coke in a stairwell, a medical issue," Hall said. So if you're having a problem at the game, all you have to do is text the word "INDY" to 78247, with the details of the problem, along with your seat location. That text message is sent from your cell phone right to stadium security. "A response would also be sent from the command center acknowledging that their message was received," Hall explained. Lucas Oil has banners around the stadium to describe how the system works. So far, it's been met with a positive reception from fans. "For people that don't want to make a scene and have conflict there, they can text anonymously and I think it's a great idea," Neff said. In general, Colts fans are known to be well-behaved. Hall says less than ten fans are ejected each game. But he believes Guest Assist is an important tool to deal with the disruptive ones. By season's end, all NFL stadiums expect to use text messages to make sure rude fans don't ruin the game. Family Restrooms Family Restrooms are available on all levels of the stadium. There are 720 toilets for women, 652 for men and 28 family bathrooms. Please refer to the Concourse Level maps for further information.
